As you've probably guessed by now, my name is Charlie. I am a motion designer in Chicago by way of Atlanta. Don't worry, I actually enjoy the snow. I am always open to new projects and quite enjoy bouncing around Chicago and seeing new people, companies and workflows.

My appetite for music and design is insatiable. There have been small projects in the past that I've scored or just created a song for, but of late I have been more focused on visual work. Currently, I'm challenging myself to learn how to code for web (pardon my mess), learn a full 3D application and discover all of the possibilities of the new 35mm lens adapter for my video camera.

I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in '02, and since have worked on a broad spectrum of video/animation projects ranging from broadcast to web-based, interactive video walkthroughs. I am currently the most familiar with After Effects and the Apple Suite but can and have adapted very easily in the past to new setups. I never find myself content with how familiar I am with a program and a useful new hotkey will absolutely make my day.

My most recent recognition was having our Firebelly work featured in STEP Inside Design Magazine's Best of the Web for the second year in a row.
